Having graduated from UCLA School of Medicine in 1993 with Magna Cum Laude, Dr. Tabibian finished his residency training in dermatology in 1997 where he was trained in general dermatology, dermatologic surgery, and dermatopathology. He is a fellow member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Board of Dermatology, and the American Society of Mohs Surgery (Practicing Mohs surgery since 2000), and a member of the California Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. He currently serves as a clinical instructor of dermatology at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA where he trains internal medicine residents doing electives in Dermatology.
David J. Sire, M.D.
Dr. Sire is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and Surgeon with a passion for revitalizing skin health. Since 1971, he has dedicated his career to applying medical technology and proven techniques to treat men, women and children alike.
He is a noted authority on the use of lasers and light sources. A frequent lecturer and panelist at medical meetings, he is regularly called upon to train other physicians on his treatment techniques. He pioneered the use of saline injections to treat acne and other scars, and has developed several specialty skincare products. The author of ten published papers, Dr. Sire has been quoted in top national publications, including Glamour and InStyle, as well as appeared on several radio and television programs. Dr. Sire prides himself on minimizing pain and recovery time for his patients.
Training & Experience
Dr. Sire graduated from the University of California, Irvine in 1967. He was a resident at the Philadelphia Naval Hospital from 1968 - 1974. He practiced medicine at the Naval Medical Center in Long Beach, CA where he served as Chief of Dermatology. Upon completion of his naval service, he began private practice at the Fullerton Medical Clinic of Dermatology in Fullerton, CA. He is also certified by the American Board of Dermatology.
Dr. Sire served as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of California, Irvine from 1971-1986 and from 2006-2008. He is a fellow of the American College of Phlebology, the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Mohs Surgery and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Sire also is a member of the Orange County Medical Association, the Orange County Dermatology Society, the Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Sire is also affiliated with St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, California since 1974.
Dr. Salar Hazany strives for excellence in all aspects of his practice. His meticulous attention to detail complements his ability to establish a personable and trusting relationship with his patients to provide exceptional dermatologic care.
Dr. Hazany is a board-certified dermatologist who is originally from Los Angeles, California. A summa cum laude graduate in Neuroscience from UCLA, Dr. Hazany went on to graduate at the top of his class from the prestigious UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. Dr. Hazany was the recipient of several highly sought after merit scholarships and awards from the Mayo Clinic and the National Institutes of Health and was chosen to complete a year of general surgery training with a focus on plastic surgery at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Hazany continued to focus on medical dermatology and further build his solid skill set in cosmetics at the Harbor UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he served as Chief Resident from 2013-2014.
Given his artistic eye and love for dermatologic surgery and cosmetics, Dr. Hazany decided to travel to Houston to work at the Houston Methodist hospital and continue his training in Mohs Micrographic surgery, cosmetic dermatology and laser surgery with Dr. Leonard Goldberg.
Dr. Hazany’s research interests have led to the publication of multiple scientific articles and book chapters in the fields of facial plastic surgery and dermatology. He is a two-time winner of the Cosmetic Surgery Forum best oral presentation.
Dr. Hazany has a reputation to be very well versed in all dermatologic and surgical facets of the field and is a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Hazany customizes his approach to each patient and regularly takes the time to discuss all options and answer all questions in detail. He is frequently complimented for his confidence, considerate care to the patient need and comfort, and gentle pain-free touch. His straightforward approach and genuine care are treasured by our patients.
Dr. Hsu is a board-certified radiation oncologist.
He was born and raised in Taiwan and immigrated to the US when he was 14. After graduating from San Marino High School, he received his BA degree in Biology from UC Berkeley. He received his MD and MBA degrees from Creighton University in Omaha, NE.
He completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Hsu also received MPH (Master of Public Health) degree from University of Illinois at Chicago. After completing his residency, Dr. Hsu practiced at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, CA. He then moved to Omaha, NE to help build and develop a brand new cancer center there and practiced as the head of radiation oncology.
Dr. Hsu has recently returned to our community as a medical director to help develop AHMC International Cancer Center.
Lawrence Nichols, M.D.
Lawrence Nichols, MD is a practicing Dermatologist (Skin Specialist) in La Palma, CA. After serving in the US Navy, he decided to go to medical school. Dr. Nichols graduated from University of California Irvine School of Medicine in 1968 and has been in practice for 49 years. He completed his residency at the US Department of Veterans Affairs. He diagnoses, treats, and manages skin problems, as well as those of the hair & nails.
With over 15 years of experience and knowledge in both clinical and cosmetic dermatology and a licensed physician assistant since 1998, Quint practices dermatology in our Los Alamitos office He attended WesternUniversity of Health Science, a private medical school in Pomona, California. Quint has passed the national certifying examination developed by the National Board of Medical Examiners, became certified by the national commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and was licensed by the California Board of Medicine. Quint is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of various dermatological diseased including skin rashes, removal of benign and malignant skin tumors, cosmetic procedures such as Botox ® and fillers such as Juvederm ®, and laser treatment using the Diode laser.
Judy Fitzroy, RN.
With over 39 years of experience as an RN specializing in the field of dermatology, Judy is experienced in all aspects of dermatology, including medical, surgical as well as cosmetic dermatology. Judy personally performs the XTRAC laser treatments for our patients with psoriasis and vitiligo.
Kyndra is a Senior RN with 18 years total nursing experience including 2 years as Vice President of Nursing at RN Specialist and 7 years at Scripps Clinic Laser and Cosmetic Dermatology Center. As head of Nursing for RN Specialist, Kyndra performs nearly 1500 procedures per year for several physicians throughout Southern California. In addition to her current hands-on clinical experience, she has successfully managed physicians’ offices of 6 nurses treating 60 laser patients per day. Kyndra has directed pre-market research, testing, and evaluation programs for several newly developed lasers and systems for dermatology treatments. As a result, she is sought after by key OEM manufacturers for consultation and training. Her unique combination of broad clinical experience and commitment to safe, high-quality patient care is unique in the industry.
